Who We Are
GuruGyan Tax Training (nextych.in) is run by GuruGyan Consulting, India. For any privacy question or request, contact vyas@guruvyas.com.
What We Collect
- Account details: your name, the email address you log in with, and your phone number if you contact us by WhatsApp.
- Purchase details: the plan you bought, the amount, date and payment reference. We do not receive or store card numbers or bank passwords; payment providers handle those.
- Login records: when you log in, our login provider records your email, the time and basic technical data such as your IP address.
- Your practice work: answers, case versions and preferences are saved in your own browser on your device. They are not sent to us.
Tax Data in the Lab
The training uses fictional data. Do not enter or upload real taxpayer information. Files you import are read inside your browser and are not stored on our servers.
Why We Use It
- To give you access to the plans you paid for and verify your login.
- To answer your questions and send important notices about your account or the training.
- To keep accounting records required by law.
We use your data with your consent and to perform our contract with you. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
Who We Share It With
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and runs the student login (one-time email codes).
- Payment providers you choose to pay through.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Cloudflare may process data in countries outside India under its own privacy and security commitments.
Cookies
We use only the cookie needed to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How Long We Keep It
Account details are kept while your access is active and for up to 12 months after it ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and tax laws require.
Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Email vyas@guruvyas.com; we reply within 30 days.
Grievances
If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, write to our grievance contact at vyas@guruvyas.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
The training is meant for adults. If you are under 18, use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Security
The site uses HTTPS everywhere, logins use one-time codes rather than passwords, and only GuruGyan Consulting can manage student access.
Changes
We will post any change on this page with a new effective date, and email active students about significant changes.
